Bakırköy Botanical Park (Bakırköy Botanik Parkı) has 11 thematic gardens consisting of a huge variety of plants.
Hundreds of tree and shrubs species as well as annual and perennial plant species can be discovered. The 96-hectare park is home to estimated 262,500 plants, including 40- to 50-year-old trees.
There are also children’s playgrounds, sculptures, natural ponds, ornamental pools, layover areas for migratory birds, picnic areas and social facilities. It is the ideal destination for the whole family.
