Located on the Asian side of Istanbul in Beykoz, Çubuklu Park (also known as Khedive Palace Park) is a peaceful forest area full of tall trees, colorful flowers, and beautiful nature.
This 189-hectare park sits on a hill overlooking the Bosphorus, offering amazing views of the sea and the city. It’s a great place to take a walk, relax, and enjoy the calm side of Istanbul.
🕌 Inside the park is the Khedive Palace (Hidiv Kasrı), built in 1907 for the last ruler of Egypt and Sudan. The palace was designed in Art Nouveau style and today it is a lovely café and restaurant where you can enjoy tea or breakfast with a view.
🌿 With its rare tree species like firs, spruces, and cedars, the park is not only beautiful but also special for nature lovers. If you listen carefully, you might even hear nightingales singing.
